This Friday, March 11, 2016, marks the opening for the 69th Season of Fun at Play Faire Park (2300 North 2nd, Abilene). This wonderful old, local landmark was established in 1947 and has been open every season since – making it the oldest continuously operated miniature golf course in the whole State of Texas…(full disclosure)…there’s one in San Antonio that is older but keeps opening for a few years and then closing again for a number of years.
As always, we open for Spring Break and don’t close until mid-December and this year is no different. The gates open at 2 pm after early release for this 69th Season of certifiable fun! Birthday parties and concerts are already being scheduled so we are excited about the memories that are going to be made this season and folks will not want to be left out.
Spring Break Hours of Operation:
Tuesday – Thursday … 10 am – 10 pm
Friday and Saturday…10 am – 11:30 pm
Sunday…1 pm – 10 pm
Closed Mondays…just like the barber shops!
School Time Hours of Operation:
Tuesday – Thursday…3 pm – 10 pm
Friday…3 pm – 11:30 pm

There are changes and additions to the fun this season at the Park that will add to the fun and games you can have with your family and friends. More to come on this lil’ morsel of a hint of things to come.
